Do you find the stress in your life is making it difficult to get through your day? Are you overwhelmed by challenges at work, school, home, or in your relationships? When dealing with these kinds of struggles, it is helpful to have someone who will listen without judgment and provide support. As your therapist, I can help you develop personalized goals and provide you with tools to help with your needs. With the support of the therapeutic relationship, you can build self-esteem, navigate challenges with increased confidence, and experience a greater sense of inner peace.

My primary areas of focus include ADHD, austism, anxiety, and depression. I provide a welcoming space for folks in the LGBTQ+ community and those who experience chronic illness. I have a background in music therapy and I utilize the expressive arts with people who benefit from more creative methods. I offer telehealth and in-person therapy.

Contact me for a short consultation to see if we are a good fit! A note to caregivers seeking therapy for a child/teen: my approach includes giving young clients a confidential space to share their thoughts and working with parents/caregivers on how to support the child/teen, which often includes education on parenting strategies.

Creative Arts and Therapy:

For many individuals, incorporating the arts in therapy can provide opportunities for growth and healing. I began my career as a music teacher in 2010 and have been a board-certified music therapist since 2013. I have also used dance, movement, and visual art throughout my career. I have seen the ways people have learned to cope with challenges, discovered their personal strengths, and improved their self esteem through the arts.
How can the arts help me?
  • providing a vehicle for self expression and creativity
  • processing difficult feelings and events
  • improving self esteem
  • practicing social and communications skills
  • developing healthy coping skills
  • improving cognitive skills such as attention, memory, and decision making

Art forms Audrey uses in therapy:
  • Music: singing, playing instruments, lyric analysis, song writing
  • Visual art: drawing, painting, crafts, coloring
  • Dance/Movement
